A message from Comcast regarding construction project in Poland Township:
Comcast is currently in the process of expanding its network into Poland Township. The first phase of the project will include the underground installation of cable along Youngstown Pittsburgh Rd., Dobbins Rd., Clingan Rd., and Center Rd. Service is planned to be available for residents in these areas in November of this year. This is a multi-phase project that will continue through the year 2025 and will expand throughout much of the Township.
Poland Township has retained its colonial appearance which came from the New England settlers who brought their heritage and culture with them.
Many of the old homes have been preserved and blend well with the new growth of homes in Poland. The Township and Village are protected by their own police departments and the Western Reserve Joint Fire District which is composed of volunteer fire fighters.
