WRJFD handles fire and EMS operations for both Poland Township and Poland Village. Because these are two separate municipalities, our department is formally called the Western Reserve Joint Fire District. We have over 60 volunteers that make up our department, with skills ranging from inspectors, instructors, investigators, emergency medical responder to paramedic, firefighters to fire officers. Our volunteers do not staff the 3 stations full time, instead, they respond to their designated station when a call comes in.
