FEBRUARY 21, 2018

                                                        SPECIAL MEETING

            The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting on February 21, 2018 at the Poland Township Administration Building located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio.  The purpose of this meeting was to hire police personnel.  The news media was properly notified.

            Chairman Ungaro called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.   Roll call was taken and present were Trustees Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers.

Vice Chair Wollet led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. 

            Chairman Ungaro moved to hire Joshua Kozic as a full time police officer for Poland Township at the union contract rate of $16.40, with first day of service to begin on Monday, March 5, 2018, pending physical and background check.  Motion seconded by Vice Chair Wollet.  Roll call vote taken and voting yes trustees, Ungaro, Wollet, and Kempers…motion carried.

            No other business to conduct Chairman Ungaro moved to adjourn at 4:32 p.m., seconded by Vice Chair Wollet.  Voting yes, Ungaro, Wollet, and Kempers… motion carried.
