                                                      Special Meeting

The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Township Administration Building located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio.  The purpose of this meeting was to hire a full time police officer.  The news media had been properly notified.

Chairman Ungaro called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.  Roll call was taken and present were trustees:  Ungaro, Wollet, and Kempers.

Trustee Kempers led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Vice-Chair Wollet made a motion to promote Patrolman Marc Peluso from part-time to full-time starting on Sunday, June 17, 2018, starting wage and benefits as outlined in the union contract, motion seconded by Trustees Kempers.  Roll call vote, voting yes – Wollet and Kempers.  Voting no – Ungaro, he stated he wanted the position to be advertised…motion carried. 

No other business conducted.

Trustee Kempers made a motion to adjourn at 10:03 a.m., seconded by Vice-Chair Wollet.  Voting yes – Kempers, Wollet, and Ungaro…motion carried.

Meeting adjourned 10:03 a.m.
