Special Meeting
The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Wednesday, July 08th, 2015 at the Poland Township Administration Building located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss Zone Change; ZC-01-15: Henry Hassay. The news media and everyone directly affected by the zone change was properly notified.
The meeting was opened by Chairman Ungaro at 6:30. Seconded by Lidle.
Ungaro asked for anyone to come forward to speak on behalf of ZC-01-15.
Hank Grover – 8307 North Lima Road – Recommending zone change to build multiple family rental housing. Discussed plans for a few moments.
Henry Hassay Jr. – Discussed plans for the lot; Plans for one floor plan units that are handicapped accessible.
Ungaro asked for anyone to come forward and speak against ZC-01-15.
Several residents came up to discuss their concerns against voting yes for the zone change.
Wollet reads the concerns of the access to buildings in fire emergencies from the Western Reserve Fire Department.
Ungaro motioned to deny ZC-01-15: Henry Hassay. Seconded by Wollet. Voting yes --- Ungaro, Wollet. Lidle voting no.
Lidle motions to adjourn meeting. Seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes --- Lidle, Ungaro, and Wollet.
