SEPTEMBER 4, 2012—SPECIAL MEETING

The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the purchase of the property that is for sale and is adjacent to the existing Fire Station on Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road. The news media was properly notified.

Chairman Naples called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. and led everyone present in the pledge of allegiance. Roll call was taken and present were Naples, Lidle and Ungaro.

Upon the arrival of Ronald Liptak, Realtor for Remax Valley Real Estate, a discussion took place regarding the property located at 7593 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road. This property is adjacent to the existing Fire Station on Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road. Mr. Liptak explained that there is an accepted bid of $28,000.00 on the property and is pending closing. He also stated that Poland Township could place a back-up bid on the property.

Naples moved to place a back-up bid of $28,100.00 on the property located at 7593 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, Poland, Ohio, seconded by Lidle. Voting yes – Naples, Lidle, Ungaro…motion carried.

There being no further business, Naples moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:47 p.m., seconded by Lidle. Voting yes – Naples, Lidle, Ungaro…motion carried.
