The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Thursday,
September 20, 2012 at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio.
The purpose of the meeting was to award the Road Paving Contract for 2012, pass Resolution #12-22: Resolution of Oil and Gas Lease, and approve a lease agreement between Poland Township and the Western Reserve Joint Fire District. The news media had been properly notified.
Chairman Naples called the meeting to order at 5:22 p.m. Mike Heher led everyone present in the pledge of allegiance. Roll call was taken and present were Naples, Lidle and Ungaro.
Naples moved to award the 2012 Road Paving Contract for Poland Township to R.T. Vernal Paving in the amount of $67,749.50, seconded by Lidle. Voting yes – Naples, Lidle, Ungaro…motion carried.
Lidle moved to approve the Lease Agreement between The Township of Poland and The Western Reserve Joint Fire District for Property Located at 7635 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Rd, Poland, Ohio (agreement on file), seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Lidle, Ungaro, Naples…motion carried.
Lidle moved to adopt Resolution #12-22: Ratification of Oil and Gas Lease with regard to that land, situated in Poland Township, Mahoning County, Ohio, being parts of Great Lots 51 and 52, containing 71.507 acres (“said Land”) (Resolution on file). Ungaro seconded the Resolution and the Roll was called. Upon its adoption, the vote resulted as follows: Lidle, yea; Ungaro, yea; Naples, yea.
Naples moved to adjourn at 5:25 p.m., seconded by Lidle. Voting yes – Naples, Lidle, Ungaro…motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
