Special Meeting

The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting September 22, 2020 at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland Ohio.

Mr. Ungaro opens the special meeting.

Mr. Janofa led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mr. Canter calls roll call. Mr. Ungaro, Mrs. Wollet and Mr. Kempers were presents.

Mr. Ungaro motions to approve Resolution 20-05: Current property taxes values and levies outside of 10 Mil limitations exclusive of debt levies. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Ungaro motions to approve Trick or Treating is scheduled for October 31, 2020 from 5p.m.-7p.m.  Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Janofa presents to the Board additional expenditures for school supplies.

Mr. Ungaro motions to go into executive session reason of personnel. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Ungaro motions to exit executive session and adjourn at 6:21 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Ungaro motions to enter into special meeting at 6:22 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Ungaro motions to approve Police Chief Brian Goodin a $5.00 raise per hour for the time period of 09/16/2020-12/31/2020 or this can be terminated at an earlier date as voted on from the trustees. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.

Mr. Ungaro motions to adjourn the meeting at 6:23 p.m.  Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.
