Bike Patrol

The Poland Township Police Department's Bike Patrol helps to facilitate the department’s philosophy of “community policing” by providing a conduit for interactions between the public and officers.

 

Additionally, bicycles are a versatile tool in law enforcement that create a highly mobile, visible presence and provide our officers an avenue of access to the Township which are inaccessible by conventional motorized patrol vehicles.
