1st Order of Business:
Hank Grover stated that the first order of business is to approve the minutes from the meeting held on July 12, 2012. Jim Burgham made a motion to accept the minutes from the July 12, 2012 meeting. All members were in favor. Minutes approved.
 
2nd Order of Business:
Case #ZA-06-12 – A variance request by Todd Bury to obtain relief from accessory building regulations for square footage and height, to build a thirty six by thirty four (36 x 34) foot (offset) accessory building. The property is located at 4172 Olde Chartered Trail, known as parcel number 35-035-0-025.00-0, Lot 18. Parcel is located in Poland Township, Poland, Ohio, in an (E) Estate District.

Hank Grover asked Todd Bury if he would like to add additional information to the case.

Bury stated that the requested height of the building is twenty-six (26) feet.

Hank Grover asked if anyone would like to speak in favor of this request. No one responds. Hank asked if anyone would like to speak against this request. No one responds.

Hank asked the board members if there were any questions or concerns with this case.

Bill Custer asked Bury if the garage is on the property with the house on it. Bury stated yes, they own the property next to the house property, but the garage is on the house property.
 
Jim Burgham stated there is a lot of land with an existing beautiful home and the proposed garage will be as nice as the home. Burgham stated he is not concerned with the requested height of the building.

Hank asked if there were any other comments or concerns to discuss. There being none, the following motion was made:

Motion

Jim Burgham made a motion in Case ZA-06-12 to grant the variances requested for an additional storage building with a height of twenty-six (26) feet and square footage of one thousand one hundred sixty-eight (1168) feet to be constructed as per the plans submitted. Bill Custer seconded the motion.
